We are excited to announce that Richard Crosby is joining Project Eleven as Lead Engineer. Richard brings more than a decade of engineering and leadership experience across fintech, compliance technology, and blockchain infrastructure. At Notabene, he served as VP of Core Engineering, where he led teams responsible for building scalable systems used across the global crypto ecosystem, resulting in the facilitation of $2 trillion of payments.
Richard also brings a wide range of experience from earlier roles at companies such as HelloFresh, Boost, and WeQ Global. His work has spanned everything from complex logistics platforms to consumer scale applications, giving him a rare combination of product intuition, hands on technical execution, and engineering leadership.
At Project Eleven, Richard will lead the architecture and development of our core protocols, advance the migration of classical cryptography systems across the industry to post-quantum security, and scale our engineering team. He will play a central role in the evolution of our infrastructure and technology, ensuring we maintain strong security and reliability across everything we deliver. His background makes him a perfect fit for the work ahead.
“Quantum computing is advancing faster than most people realize, and the threat it poses to today’s cryptography is becoming impossible to ignore,” said Richard. “Project Eleven is tackling one of the most urgent challenges in the industry, and I am excited to help build the systems that will safeguard the next generation of digital assets.”
His arrival strengthens our technical leadership and accelerates the roadmap as we expand our engineering organization. We are looking forward to sharing more about what we are building and the next set of milestones on the horizon.
Please join us in welcoming Richard to Project Eleven.
